This weekend is a big one for me-- the BIG 2-7 that is! As I head into my late twenties I can't believe where I have been, am learning to love where I am at, and am so excited for what lies ahead.

I thought this whole outfit kinda signifies what I want my 27th year of life to look like. 

Simple

Here are a list of a few goals:

• Enjoy just being in the moment (not worried about laundry or work that still needs done)
• Learn to say no to things that don't grow me
• Learn to say yes to new adventures and step out of my comfort zone
• Allow God to lead the way--let go my false sense of control
• Accept that more is not always better and strive to live with less
• Serve others with an open heart and try to be a blessing
• Love with vulnerability and whole heartily

I have lived my life always looking ahead to the next big thing--all while wearing myself out along the way. For a high strung perfectionist--this stuff doesn't come easy. But doggone it--I am going to do my best :)

Hope you all have a great weekend. I get to spend mine with some of my best girlfriends doing some shopping. O and my hubby said he already got my present (and I haven't asked for anything ha!) so this could be interesting ;)
