Fool Proof

{Tunic: Target Similar} {Necklace: Versona OBSESSED on major sale!
{Jeans: American Eagle} {Boots: Old Navy LOVE}

Hi Fashionistas!

So sorry I was MIA last week--I spent the weekend in NYC and it was beyond fabulous. The weather was insanely gorgeous, we shopped a ton, and ate at Aria Wine Bar--which I highly suggest to anyone visiting. It served delicious Italian Food and at AH-mazing prices, just make sure you get there early to avoid a crazy long wait!

This week I am staying up in the Cleveland area taking my licencing classes to become a mortgage loan originator! I am super pumped, but will have to take the actual test after the classes, so fingers crossed!

With all these weeks of traveling, life has been a little crazy and I have been missing my little family at home tons, so when it comes to clothes--I don't want to have to use much brain power! Tunics, with chunky necklaces, have literally been my go-to! I actually bought this particular tunic in purple too because I loved it so much. It's a combo you can't mess up, and who doesn't love that!?

Have a great Monday

New Ways to Wear Old Favorites

 {Poncho: Target} {Boots: Payless} {Dress: thrifted IN LOVE}
{Necklaces: Express & Versona Similar & Similar}

Poncho's have been a total staples in my closet the past two years or so--so finding some new ways to wear them is a must! One of my go-to's this year has been to pair them with a dress. It makes them more work appropriate and dresses them up a bit, while still staying warm and cozy!

Did everyone have a good Halloween weekend?! I didn't dress up--lame old lady--but I loved seeing everyone's creative looks!

P.S. I will be in NYC coming up this Friday through Monday--any of my blogging babes going to be in town?! I would love to grab coffee or a drink!

Have a fabulous Monday Fashionistas

Express Yourself

{Jeans: Express} {Kimono: Express} {Top: Express LOVE}
{Watch: c/o Daniel Wellington} {Purse: Steve Madden @ Burlington}

Happy Monday Fashionistas!

Did you all have a good weekend?! Mine was really awesome--I have been on the go for weeks and this weekend I got to slow it down, have some down time with the hubby, and focus on things I enjoy doing. I even worked out--twice--who am I?!

Also, wearing flare jeans again, makes me feel like my high school self. And, you know what? I don't hate it! I really had a hard time finding the right pair though. I went to every store I could think of and tried on a ton of different styles. I am pear shaped and the wrong fit can be a disaster for me.

I also have to admit, I have never tried on a pair of Express Jeans. Not really sure why, just always got my denim elsewhere. Well, now I am hooked (and no, this isn't a sponsored post, despite the whole look pretty much being from there), like seriously, why did no one ever let me in on this little secret?! I can't speak for all ladies, but for my pear shaped fashionistas--don't walk, RUN, to your nearest Express and try on the flares!

50 Seasons of Gray

{Sweater: Express Similar} {Pants: American Eagle
{Sunnies: Jessica Simpson LOVE}

Its Monday--and for some of you, today is a holiday. And, I won't lie--I am totally hating on you right now! It is going to be a gorgeous day, and let's be real, I am sure there aren't many of those left here in the good ole state of Ohio.

I had an amazing weekend, I got to spend it up in Cleveland at a work conference, which I know, doesn't sound all that fun ha! But, it was inspiring and interesting, plus getting to hit the town in the evenings with all my co-workers (and even winning $150 at the casino) didn't hurt.

If there is one color I have been gravitating to in EVERY season this year--it is gray. I can't get enough and this sweater joined the club about a month ago and has been on repeat ever since! Gray jeans are next on my "to find" list--anyone have any good suggestions?!

Have a fabulous day Fashionistas

Power Shoes and Power Moves

{Shoes: Charlotte Russe} {Pants: Old Navy} {Cardi: Loft}
{Clutch: Edith Marie Jewelry} {Shirt: Express Similar}

Can we go back and redo the weekend? I wasn't ready!

Ah-time is just flying by lately and I have been loving every minute. But, when you are so busy, sometimes, something's gotta give!

Blogging has been SO fun and such a great creative outlet for me--but I am also kinda competitive and a perfectionist, so I can make it into more of a chore/job than something I do for fun.

It can be challenging seeing other people's blog really growing and thriving (and I am SOO cheering them on!), but I don't have the kind of time/drive it takes to make that happen right now.

I have been LOVING my new job--and as much as I wish blogging paid the bills, it doesn't. So I want to focus more on my new career and all the places that it can take me!

But, I am not ready to give up this little space and all my blogger babes just yet.

So, I am going to be making a little change around here. I will be posting everyone Monday and will most likely keep it to just one day a week for now. I want to post more quality content and stuff you all can really enjoy and dig into. There may be a little more writing thrown in as well, with a whole lot of fashion (as usual! ha!).

I hope you all will still stick around and see what the future holds for my little corner of the internet!

Fall 101

{Shirt: Old Navy Similar} {Pants: Old Navy} {Tee: Joe Fresh}

Plaid for fall, is like florals in spring, a staple--nothing groundbreaking. Yet, every year I get excited to break it out, pair it with boots, and enjoy the season!

Hope you all had a great weekend

My Review of Jamberry Nails

I have been wanting the chance to try out Jamberry Nails for what seems like forever! I just never got around to it--but was always admiring other wearing them, they have the funnest patterns and are so shiny on the nail!

When Megan asked me to give them a try and review them for you all on my blog--I was thrilled!

First off, get to know a little more about Jamberry Nails and their products:
  1. Jamberry Nails are a vinyl wrap that adheres to your nails through heat and pressure
  2. Over 300 styles/patterns to choose from
  3. Each sheet is enough for 2 full manis, 2 full pedis, and 6-8 accent nails
  4. They can be applied to natural nails, acrylics, gels, and polish (this one made me happy, love my acrylics--don't judge me ha!)

Loving the Pattern and Shine
{Wraps: c/o Megan--can be ordered HERE

So, what was my honest opinion of these wraps then?

I really, really was pleased with them! I was concerned they would be hard to apply and messy, but it was quite the opposite. Finding the right fit and cutting them before they are on your nails seem to be key to getting a clean look.

 I think mine will look even better next time because I got the hang of "fitting" them towards the end (you don't want them touching your skin or else it makes the ends lift).This product might take some practice to get perfect, but over all very user friendly!

I love that you can wear them over acrylics--or over polish--like I did in this post! I love a good pedi, so the fact that I can add these after the salon is awesome!

Shine, Shine, Shine! Love the finish after you apply heat. You can use a hair drying and don't have to purchase a special lamp or anything to achieve it, so major plus.

I would totally recommend these to anyone. Please visit Megan's site HERE to order! You can also visit her Facebook Page if you have any questions on how to apply, the product itself, or hosting your own party.

Any one else tried these?! What were you thoughts?!

Happy Monday
