Can't stop, won't stop with Old Navy this year! Holy Cow--they are just killing it for me in every area! 

These shorts are my new all time favorite pair ever--and they cover my tush--your welcome mom :) I like the longer length, but with out feeling like I am wearing old lady shorts, and they still have a good shape to them!

Plus, neon+floral=perfection in my book--and this shirt has it all!! Is it a little loud to wear to a job at a bank?! Maybe, but you better believe I did it, paired with a pencil skirt!

Walking on Sunshine

OK--I have a confession. 

When I bought this dress, I totally thought it was a shirt! And when I went to ring out, the very nice cashier told me how she had bought the same "dress".

Looking on American Eagles website--she was totally correct, it is indeed a dress! However, that just didn't work on me #tallpeopleprobz.

But, I love it, and it fit just how I wanted it to--as a long flowy shirt! Perfect for spring days and enjoying the sunshine :) I am totally going to wear it with patterned leggings for a more relaxed look, or dress it up with heels and pearls!

Versatility is king in my house these days, and this dress/shirt is a totally win!

 It's Fri-yay!! We made it :)

I have been a real slacker when it comes to taking outfit pictures/the weather has been crappy/my hubby has been working a lot! Is that enough excuses?! ha!

Free Legs and a Giveaway!!

Although these white, white legs need a major tan--I am loving getting them some fresh air and ditching the tights and leggings! 

Summer Dresses have to be one of my favorite items of clothing.

Maxis, Midis, Sundress, Slip Dresses--I love them all! They are a go-to in summer, and can be made appropriate for almost any occasion :)

I got to wear this little number to a fabulous event called Fashiontini! It helped raise money for a local business, Pegasus Farm, that uses equine therapy to help a people with different disabilities. It was super touching to see some of the student's from the organization model in the fashion show! They rocked it!

All Business in the Front and Party In The Back

Yay the work week is half way over--and this girl could not be more happy about that! It has been too nice here in Ohio to be sitting inside behind a desk--can't someone find me a job where I get paid to sit outside getting a tan while drinking margaritas and reading smutty magazine?!

 

A girl can dream.

 

This outfit totally describes my personality--the bottoms are a little wild, laid back, easy to wear, and super fun! The top is more structured and business like with the tweed trim. The top is like my "Type A" half--a perfectionist, anxiety filled, and people pleaser.

 

I used to think I needed to find a happy medium between my wild side and being straight laced. It seemed weird to me that someone could have two such extremes. But, I have come to love myself and who God made me to be.

 

I have been living by the saying that goes "Be yourself, God made you a certain way because you are the only person on this earth who can accomplish the things He has in mind".

 

And if this outfit is any indication--somehow it all works out :)

Suggestions Needed

Happy Monday Fashionistas! How was your weekend?!

 

Mine was not nearly long enough--but what's new?! ha!

 

I wore this outfit to one of our friend's surprise 30th birthday--we are all getting old ha! But, it was such a fun night out with good food, good music, and good friends!

 

I need your help though my fellow bloggers and photogs--I need a better camera. Mine is a decent point and shoot--but its not DSLR! What suggestions do you have?! I am a TOTAL beginner, so I need something easy to learn on. And, I know they are expensive--but I would like to stay on the low end.

 

Anyone have any good advice?!

I could not be more excited to be wearing short sleeves and not freezing my tushy off in these photos. Ohio has finally got the memo that spring is here and it's time to enjoy the sunshine!

 

One of my favorite combo's this year has got to be the graphic shirt paired with a kimono--it's an easy look, but totally stylish and trendy! Plus, this tee pretty much describes my whole life "Shopping is My Cardio". 

 

Who needs the gym?!

Anyone ever look in the mirror and LOVE their outfit, but then see a picture of themselves in it, and not like it quite so much?!

I am still convinced this outfit looks great in person and that these pictures are all just bad angles hehe! But, regardless, who doesn't love an outfit that can go work to play and still be comfy and stylish?! That is totally what I was going for!

Did you all have a fabulous Easter?! Ours was perfection--the sun was shining (and WARM!!), the food was delicious, time with family was wonderful, and church knocked it out of the park with a fabulous message about our Risen Savior!!
