How to Dress Up a Maxi Skirt

{Skirt: JcPenny Identical} {Cardi-Dress: Sheinside} {Booties: Old Navy}
{Earrings&Bracelet: Body Central (not online)} {Necklace: old WANT}

Good Morning Fashionistas!

Since I have complained more about this weather on here than I have talked about clothes--I feel obligated to celebrate some sunshine we have been having!! YAY!! Finally not freezing my a** off while taking pictures :) The birds were even chirping in the morning--this has got to be a good sign of the weather to come.

So now onto the fashion--if I haven't lost you already with all that exciting weather talk! I love a good black maxi skirt. There are literally a hundred ways to wear it. I tend to dress it down--wear it on days I want a little more comfort. However, it is totally acceptable to dress it up. So enter this ah-mazing Cardi-Dress from Sheinside. When I first saw it I was obsessed--so colorful and bright. It seriously goes perfectly over this maxi skirt and tank. It is super light weight and can transition the maxi between spring and summer.

And guess what? Still totally comfortable! Ahh--the joys of looking cute while avoiding wearing yoga pants daily.

What is your favorite way to wear your maxi??
Hope you all have a fabulous Monday
