What your breakouts are telling you?
Each one of us is unique in their own way, and that is beautiful.
However, no matter how unique you feel there are things about our bodies and
faces that are all the same for everyone. These are the signals letting us know
what’s going on on the inside, how we are dealing with certain changes, ways we
are reacting to particular situations, etc.
Breakouts are just one of the smart signals your body is sending you,
urging you to change whatever it is that’s causing the blemishes.
Through face-mapping, Eastern tradition has given us a wonderful insight
into our breakout troubles! Face mapping is the idea that
there’s a correlation between different zones of your face and your internal
organs. This tradition combines modern dermatology with ancient Chinese
medicine and it’s probably the most interesting and accurate thing you’ll learn
about your face.
Anyhow, this is the face map that will help you figure out what’s wrong
and attack the problem that initially caused the
acne/blemishes/redness/irritation.
Forehead
We usually say breakouts on our forehead are caused by a lot of sweating
and bangs, which can be ture. However, the deeper reason for breakouts across
the forehead is usually triggered by stress, digestive problems or sleep
deprivation.
To have your forehead clear of any spots, make sure you sleep at least 8
hours. Your beauty rest must become a
priority!
Above the brow
Our immune system is directly affecting the area above the brow. Right
before, after, or during a cold or flu, expect for breakouts to happen in this
area.
If you notice a breakout in this
zone, slow down for a couple days. Take a lot of vitamins, drink plenty of
water and eat immune boosting foods.
Between brows
The old saying goes “whenever there is a pimple between your brows,
someone secretly loves you”. Who knows if that’s true! What we know though is
that a breakout here is indicative of you overindulging lately. A lot of unhealthy
foods, drinks or a food allergy are directly responsible for your
between-brows-pimple. Cutting back on rich foods, sugar, dairy, and alcohol can
help clear up skin in this zone.
Cheeks
Your cheeks are linked to your respiratory system which is why having
breakouts on your cheeks if you are a smoker is no surprise. Smoking or
breathing polluted air can cause breakouts, irritation and redness. So try to
stay clear of spaces with a lot of smoke.
Side of chin
You know when you are in THAT time of the month how you always get a few
blemishes on the chin? Well, here’s why - the sides of your chin are affected
by hormones. Breakouts happen on one side or another depending on which ovary
is ovulating that month.
To try and prevent breakouts from ruining your gorgeous face, we’d
suggest choosing cosmetics that agrees with your skin type and feels good. Osmosis skin care
is probably the best solution for everyone whose skin is prone to irritation because it
helps deal with all the unpleasant moments on the skin.
Don’t you find it amazing that by just “reading” your face you can
determine what’s wrong with your health and which segment of your life needs
improving? I think it’s absolutely stunning!
